Chebon Designs
My name is Codijo Chebon Yazzie, and I am the artist and designer behind Chebon Designs. I am of Diné (Navajo), Kiowa, and Comanche heritage. I currently reside in Logan, Utah, but I was raised in Upper Fruitland, New Mexico, located within the Navajo Nation.
My cultural roots are central to my work. I specialize in handcrafted, one-of-a-kind beaded accessories that celebrate Native identity and style. I am best known for my signature beaded ties and custom beaded hats, which have gained recognition for their intricate detail, bold designs, and cultural significance.
Through Chebon Designs, I aim to honor traditional techniques while bringing a modern voice to Native fashion. My work reflects the stories, symbols, and strength of my people. Each piece I create is more than an accessory—it is a statement of resilience, beauty, and pride.
I recently showcased my work at Utah Indigenous Fashion Week, where I had the opportunity to present my designs alongside other talented Native creatives. It was an important platform to celebrate Indigenous artistry and share my vision with a broader audience.
